During the 4 years we study a lot of programming languages but we are not really aware of how many of these are used in the industry practically. Mr. Kohli started the talk by asking us about the most paid programming language to which the audience answered Java, Python etc. But the fact differed from the opinion of the audience. He said that the most “in demand” language is JavaScript.

ZenraysTechology provides training to corporates and fresher’s to bridge the demand and supply gap. That is they work on training people in technologies that are most relevant and used in the industry.
So also gave us a brief on where the industry is heading. The industry is moving towardsAgile Development, SPA (Single Page Application), Open Source CMS ,Test Driven Development Automation, IOT, Robotics etc.

The next segment was about giving us a reality check about what will happen if we don’t adapt.
•    Mostly developers lose their jobs and shifting technologies.
•    IT sector is going to lose 6.4 lakh “low skilled” jobs to automation by 2021.
•    Front end and web applications development will be the new trend.
•    Hybrid application development is the future and native apps will be the new trend.

After a glimpse through the new trends he gave us suggestions on the technologies we could learn that would benefit us. They are
•    Advanced Java with spring and hibernate framework
•    Front end development-using advanced javascript and angularJS
•    Python and Django etc.

In conclusion he told us about the workshop they are planning to conduct to give us an insight on how they train and work. They also said they would like the ones who share the same passion as them to join their team and intern with them.
